What is Shokupan café?

We are a small independent café that opened in Aigburth, Liverpool in May 2026.

We serve delicious sandos made with in-house baked shokupan milk loaf bread. We also have speciality coffee, matcha, teas and bakes.

We’re a small team that’s passionate about creating great food and a friendly community vibe.

In our café, you’ll find a cosy corner with a big comfy chair and an illustrated novel library. It’s the perfect spot to read a book whilst you sip your coffee.
